This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights. Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided. This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life. Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation. Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture.
4500k Natural White. For 6000k Cool White see part number T5-Tube-CW. Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.
You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed. Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube. T5-12TUBE-NW NATURAL WHITE 12" T-5 LED TUBE LIGHT 4500K T5
I was a little skeptical at first - not thinking this could be as easy as described. I watched a couple of videos made by the RVGeeks and saw how easy it was. Literally - I converted 2 overhead 12" fluorescent lights using the m4 12" kit, in 30 Minutes max and I chose to remove the old drivers. This was the easiest upgrade I thing I've done. I need to buy 1 more kit for the third 12" overhead light. If you've been on the fence about upgrade and are just slightly handy - you can install this kit in just a matter of minutes.

Great product! We changed out all of our old flourescent bulbs and love the natural white light (not yellow). We called the tech department on the first installation then the rest were a breeze. The tech department was helpful and knowledgable. Thanks for a great product!

LED light conversion
This product was well designed with clear easy to follow instructions they even included wire nuts for the electrical connections..I elected to use AMP crimp splices instead.

These are good bulbs if you install correctly. Have used 18" version that is not polarity senitive doesn't have external transformers. The 18s were much easier. These 12" take some time getting use to the installing process. The 12"s are fragile also. I ruined 2 bulbs learning how to install. Once I learned how the other 10 bulbs went okay. Good product. M4 Note: These do wire differently than the 18" tube per the description and included instructions, there are a couple more wires per tube. By fragility I have to assume you installed some without the drivers and burned out the tubes, not a physical problem as physically they are as stout as the original tubes. If there are every any installation questions please ask and note that different products do have different instruction sheets provided.

12"LED Replacement lights
Not quite as easy as the 18" models, use rvgeeks YouTube videos if you have problems. Once sorted out they are better than the originals.

T5 - 12 Tube Natural White
I used these to retrofit the 12" florescent tube lights in my FourWheel Hawk pop-up camper. Pro's: They draw less than 50% of the power required of the fluorescent tubes. They start immediately in all weather conditions where the florescents are very slow in cold weather. They put out more light than the florescent. Con's: The drivers that come with the bulbs interfered with all radio stations received by my AM/FM tuner in my camper. I then ordered the low noise drivers and that helped a lot. I still lose low power FM stations with the low noise drivers. The stock florescent bulbs had no impact on my radio. The natural white light is a tad harsh on my eyes. They are quite bright. I'd probably order the warm light bulbs if I were doing this again. Overall I am satisfied with this conversion. I'd give it 5 stars if not for my radio issues. Understand that my camper is very small and my internal hidden antenna is located within about 4' of the light fixtures. I'm guessing most applications would not have a problem, especially if using the low noise drivers. One added comment - it would be nice if M4 would provide an option to purchase the bulbs with either the standard or low noise drivers. If you have the space, I would always opt for the low noise driver just to be safe.

T5-12Tube-NW Natural White
This was our second purchase of these bulbs. We are refitting our motorcoach with LED lights. My husband is installing and has done a dozen bulbs now. The first time he called the service tech at M4 and found them very helpful. Now he has a system, sets them all up and then installs them all. We love the light. So much better than the dull old flourescent. The kits have everything you need and we consider them a great buy.
