Love these Elite natural light bulbs, makes the coach look brand new. Steve is great at customers service. Couldn't be happier.

  2. daylight 5 Star Review

After replacing all of the interior lights, I can say, that with everything on, it is like daylight inside of the trailer. Installation is as easy as changing a bulb, except the fluorescent units, which take a little effort to convert, but not too big an issue.

  3. Great lighting as advertised. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Feb 2015

I was buying new incandescent wall lamp bulbs (1076) that side light my den area about every three months (I'm a full time RVer.). I guess RV 1076 dual pin bulbs are notorious for that.

First I bought (from a different vendor) over a year ago, a pair of LED 15 bulbs to replace. The lighting was dull; although they were still going after over a year so decided to try M4 Elite LEDs.

These Elite 1142-17-5630-NW LEDs light up the area so much brighter and vibrantly, as do the 19 incandescent replacement M4 Elite wedge base LEDs I bought (921-17-5630-NW).

I used the 921s in the 3-lamp chandelier over my desk, and for all of my dual fixture dome ceiling and vanity lights. I replaced my 3 recessed 10W halogen side pined incandescents over the couch under the overhead cabinet with Elite LEDs (G4-6-5630-SIDE-NW). Again, all the lighting is crisp, vibrant, and looks nice.

You can have 3 or 4 dual light 921 dome fixture LED ceiling lights on using the same power or less than just 1 dual light 921 dome using incandescent. That is a real battery power savings when dry camping and savings on shore power in general.

LEDs cost more; but theoretically (doing the math), should last like over 15 years as advertised w/50,000 hour lifetime (based on 8 hours a day 24/7/365). M4 has only a 2 year replacement guarantee in saying that. So I'll just settle for the better lighting, less power use, and just not having to ever buy replacements.

  4. Well built LED 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Feb 2015

I've just installed these and although I have not done any traveling with my 5er yet, they appear to be quite sturdy with the aluminum frame around the LED's. It was hard to choose which color lite would be the best for me, but I settled on Natural White. There definetly brighter than the 1076 incandescents. My big concern with using LED's is to cut-down on the amp draw and reduce the heat that radiates from the fixtures. But the supreme test will be when I begin my traveling season in May of 2015. Steve has been a good help in answering my questions before ordering. The LED's arrived on a very timely, and speedy basis. My next purchase will be to replace the 921 wedge type incandescents, and I will order from M4 products.

  5. Thank you Steve 5 Star Review

I want to thank M4 products for supplying a high quality product and the prompt technical support when I had a question regarding the retrofit wiring

M4 Note: retrofit wiring was in regard to tube lights, the 1142 is a simple bulb exchange.

  6. Great Product At A Great Price 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Apr 2014

I have now replaced all of my travel trailer lights with LED's. When I first decided to do this, I went online and there was a bit of a sticker shock. So I bought a few LED's from another site, but I was not impressed with how little light there was. A while later, the same site came out with a flat panel of 25 LED's--again with the sticker shock, but I bought some. Those are a very good product, but pricey.

On the RVGeeks channel, I saw their video on replacing their LED's, and their link brought me to this site. These LED's cost 40%-50% less but give off a lot of light; at least as much as those flat panels with the 25 LED's (I should do a review on YouTube so you can actually see that there is virtually no difference).

When you read the product description and they say there is a difference in the quality of the LED itself, it's not just all hype; there is truth behind that. This is a high quality product at a very reasonable price.

  7. Lights just like home in my RV 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Apr 2014

Venturing into RV LED lighting, I have tried several companies' offerings in different Kelvin levels and different lumens.

For mood lighting - use 2500 Kelvin, at 360 lumens
For office lighting (harsh, blue tinted) use bright white 4500 Kelvin, any lumens that give you sufficient brightness for your personal needs
For comfortable lighting similar to your home use try
3500 Kelvin Natural White at 640 lumens (Elite Series)

M4 Products offer reasonable priced (for LED) light replacements that seem to be well made - better than any others I have tried.

My choice for home style lighting is the Elite Series Natural White Samsung 5630 640 Lumen w/the BA-15 base. These directly replace the 1142 incandescent amp hogs in my RV. They provide excellent light for reading and doing projects when the fixture is near the work area. The light is similar to that of a household lighting fixture. Four hours use is less than 1 amp taken from my batteries per light fixture.
These are well made w/aluminum support frame and heat sink, non polarity for easy install, and operate from 10 - 30 watts.

I also have several fixtures now using 3500 Kelvin warm white 360 lumen bulbs for mood lighting - call it old timer camping light. Seven hours use = appx 1amp use per fixture. I leave one on in the bathroom all night for those that need a light in the middle of the night to find and use the facilities.

We just spent several thousand miles on the road with NO problems w/M4 LED lights.

M4 Products is my recommended go to company for RV LED retrofit/replacements.
